The Roberto Clemente Foundation
For the past 15 years, a strong group of Latinos fought very hard to embark in the History of Roberto Clemente in keeping his legacy alive by instilling his mission which was leadership and the willingness to give back to the community.
Today we are proud to remember his name by incorporating it to a predominately Latino park, in the city of Reading, which is now called the Roberto Clemente Field.
The Roberto Clemente Foundation of Berks County was created in 2002. Angel Figueroa serves as the President and Jose Colon as the Vice President of the Foundation. It is our mission to enhance self-confidence, character, and integrity in the lives of Roberto Clemente kids through sports.
The Roberto Clemente Foundation have been invited again by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to participate in their 4th Annual Baseball Tournament for kids 15 to 17 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico July 5th to July 13th. The Roberto Clemente Foundation of Berks County is proud to be selected to participate in this tournament. If you would like to contribute so the Roberto Clemente Kids can make their dream possible, please also contact Jose Colon at: 484-769-8621
